Mueller (born 1979) initially studied languages and literature, but left Uni after two years to complete an apprenticeship in architectural ceramics.
She then graduated in 2009 with an MA in Ceramic Design from Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in London.
The first product launched at maison sauvage was Mueller's A - Z Collection, a tabletop concept that derived from her MA graduation work 'notation of a dance - The Choreography of the Table'.
Named after the indispensable London street map, the collection traces contemporary family structures and the movement within.
For the first collaborative project Mueller teamed up with fellow designer and ceramicist Andrea Faith Martin from the United States and London based artist and industrial designer Christian Nyampeta.
